We're supposed to get the worst ice in years today, so I'm happily anticipating that maybe -- just maybe -- we'll get a smidge of snow as well. Needless to say, these are definitely the days I wish I had access to a treadmill.
I'm STARVING and, since we're out of milk and bread and other staple items, I'm baking chocolate chip cookies for breakfast. Don't judge me. While they're in the oven, I thought I would finally get to the tag from the fabulous Sonia. So, here goes ...

Katie - sounds like you have great memories from 2008 and fantastic ones ahead in 2009. Hope you are not out running in the ice. Art
Salsa dancing, how fun! You had a great year and 2009 looks like it is going to be another good one.
My 10 year reunion is this summer too. Not sure why, but it makes me feel old(er).
Awesome tags. Moved in to a new house huh? Cool. My one year anniversary in my "new" old house was the 25th. Love my 110 year old farmhouse.
Nice post. '09 is going to ROCK for you.
You'll have a very diff experience at Big D because A. you are running the full, so you'll get to see the lake and all the nice 'hoods and B. You are running with TNT - which is totally cool and they WON'T leave you all by your lonesome in the crack house areas. ha ha!
mmmm, cookies!
sounds like an exciting year ahead!
Hey Katie, I remember my neighbor running on the treadmill with a big baby belly and thinking, what a crazy nut, is she psycho? And now I see! When I'm running - mainly on the treadmill by the way, it totally feels normal and I haven't had any balance issues whatsoever. So I'm not really afraid that I'm going to fall. Key is your doctor has to be ok with you running (supportive). I kind of feel like a guinea pig and I'm getting towards the end here, but everything looks great for the baby and I feel great.
Now if you could send some of these cookies my way that would be great ;-)
I hope I'm going to love my job too! Thanks for playing a long =)
fun memories of '08. i hope '09 is even better! :)
umm i would love to BE you and have cookies for breakfast! mmmm. cookies. i think baking cookies for bkfast beats out ice cream (which i've definitely done) since you have to put all that effort into baking them. lol
Hey, nice blog!
I´m a runner myself and I really enjoyed what you have written.
Good luck on the Big D!
Greetings from Argentina!
Terrific post! Looks like you had good memories of 2008.
